It offers a comfortable shave but is no closer then the original version if you do not mind the stubble you would have after shaving with a razor 6 or 7 hours later then you will like this shaver

It cuts very well, even on four-day-old stubble. The results are very clean and ultra-smooth.

It is also very easy to clean-just a quick rinse under water, and you're done.
Another advantage is that the heads are magnetic, making them very easy to remove; plus, there is a built-in reservoir to catch the trimmed hair.
I purchased this because it has a higher speed setting than many of the others. So far I'm very happy with it. Looks good and does the job. As a bald guy this is an important device for me.
It is comfortable in your hand does what it's supposed to do.
How ever attachments tray was very poorly designed have to keep attachments in certain order or they don't fit together in tray. Charging port fur USB is on back and makes tray stick out from wall quite a ways.
It doesn't come with wall plug just USB cable!!! No bag to keep the trimmer guide and brush in
